Coach Matt says…
➡What's your goal?
➡Why did you join FLxR?
➡What are you looking to accomplish?
No matter what your aim is, consistency is needed to achieve it.
To have consistency, movement quality and proper stimulus are needed.
To have consistency, each day is not about the check mark, it's about the how and why. It's about preserving the stimulus on a path that will lead to the target movement.
Getting caught up in trying to imitate the final movement versus the intended stimulus can lead to compensations. Compensations can limit your progress by putting ceilings with particular paths. And depending on the compensation, it can lead to overuse and injury.T he goal is to have fun pursuing your goal. Tie what you're doing in the gym back to your goals. Have fun on the journey. (Your body usually feels better and is happier when it doesn't have to compensate.) Fitness and health are a long journeys, set yourself up to enjoy the journey.
Move well, move within your capacities, and you'll move closer to your goal.
